Illustration Gallery Show at the dA Center for the Arts, 2016
December 2015 is the golden month for the Mazza Museum’s
2015 Calendar as it features the cover illustration of
Red Bird Sings. My heartfelt thanks and gratitude for
bestowing this honor to me!
The Mazza Museum and their staff are amazing!
Museum of Time, Fountain Hills, Arizona (September, 2014)
I was lucky enough to be the Guest Speaker at the
River of Time Museum in Fountain Hills, AZ, and spoke
on my favorite topic, A Boy Named Beckoning –
Dr. Carlos Montezuma. Earlier in the day, I had the
great pleasure of visiting an elementary school in
Fountain Hills; touring of the Yavapai Reservation
(Carlos Montezuma’s tribal land); and, another tour
of the Yavapai Reservation Museum with the
Cultural Director of the museum, General Manager,
and Special Docent.
Mazza Museum Studio Tour (June 26, 2013)
The purpose behind the Mazza Museum Studio Tour
series is to visit a group of artists in different regions
each year. The group has been visiting illustrators for
several years. This year they chose Southern California
artists. And the honor was mine.
Rest in Peace, Dr. Jerry Mallet..you are my hero!
